Match 3 game instructions
Goal of the game
The goal of the game is to clear the board by identifying and selecting sets of three identical icons. Typically, there is a fixed amount of time to accomplish this.
Rules
The game is played on a board filled with various icons. Clicking on an icon moves it to the bar at the top of the board, which can accommodate up to 7 icons. If three identical icons align in a row, they vanish from the bar, creating space for new icons. The game ends if the top bar reaches its capacity of 7 icons without forming any sets of three.
Icons on the board are layered. Icons in lower layers are grayed out and cannot be clicked. You need to remove the icons covering them to unlock and make them clickable.
End of the game
You win if all the icons on the board have been combined into threes before the allotted time expires.
You lose if the top bar runs out of space or if the time runs out.
Tips
- The game is adapted for both computers and mobile phones. We especially recommend trying it on a smartphone.
- It's important to observe the entire board, as the most effective moves may be in unexpected places.
- If you can't create a set of three with the top layer icons, examine the lower layers for potential matches.
- Match 3 is a strategy-focused logic game. Planning your moves in advance is crucial for success.
- Take your time, but be careful not to exceed the time limit.
- Remember, the most important aspect is to relax and enjoy the game! If you don't succeed at first, you can always try again! π
